My recent photographs are emblematic of a natural elevation and how it interacts with humans. We impose order on nature yet nature continues to take back the earth, no matter what we build or what lines we draw. This conflict is the source of my metaphoric images. Nature will ultimately prevail and continue to change long after we are gone from this planet.

 We ride the wave of our times. We think we prevail with order among chaos, yet nature has its own algorithm. Nature’s inherent universal phenomenon is a virtue that will always reemerge. No human can override it. We can try to leave our footprint to be blown, washed away, or overgrown. The images I capture represent a moment in time on this planet when we existed.
